The ruling Jubilee Party on Thursday concluded consultations and consensus talks among competing Kajiado aspirants with a single candidate picked for respective elective positions.
It was agreed that former Kajiado West MP Moses Ole Sakuda will be the party senator position flagbearer in Kajiado after county Speaker Johnson Osoi dropped his bid in his favour.
Speaking to press on Thursday, Hon. Moses Ole Sakuda said that he was positive and knew that for the good interests and representation of Kajiado County, for better allocation of national revenues of the county, he was the best candidate for the Senate position.
“I am more determined to make it happen. To the Kajiado residents, I promise that together we will implement change, transformation, equity and inclusiveity. My no. One agenda is women and youths empowerment.” He stated
The consensus was also reached on the member of the county assembly seats.
If the process is not contested, the Jubilee lineup in Kajiado is now complete with former Kajiado governor David Nkedianye being the governor position flag bearer.
Nkedianye has already picked Joseph Manje (Kajiado North MP) as his running mate.
